Ow my head (due to headache caused by air pressure change)... Having thrown out a muscle in my shoulder due to some dumbass dumping 2 gallons of bottle water in a trash can (at 8 pounds/gallon that's about 16 unexpected pounds) I decided to skip kendo and do my regular Saturday errands with my dad. There was much laughter, as both of us are wiseasses. I also had to get a new wallet, since the change pocket on my old one got busted yesterday. This one actually has a little flip thing that I'll keep my school ID and license in, meaning I can flip between them quickly and not have to root around for either.
We also had quite a thundershower today that dad and I saw as we were in a parking lot. Pretty impressive. I've always liked thunderstorms since I was younger, when they stopped scaring me. There's definately a "puny humans" message that comes with them.
And for some reason I'm really liking
this music video and song, especially the line about "show me how to teach the mind, show me how to reach the blind." I don't identify as a Christian, but this sort of message I respond to. Apparently the guy (DMX) wants to a preacher after he stops doing music. I usually don't like rap, but I heard this one being played by someone vacuuming out their car and found myself liking it. *shrug*
