That does sort of make sense, though it's a pity that those qualities of Belle have really been downplayed by the marketing people in recent years in the name of "princess-ness". I remember liking Belle because she liked to read, but in merchandise? Nope, no reading, just pretty dresses. *rolls eyes* < end tangent >
