Writer's Block: Gotcha.

The one I remember most clearly had to do with our elementary school principal when I was in maybe 6th grade with (I think) Ms. Thomas. She had us gathered for an assembly and began talking about how because of something involving the buses having to go somewhere else we'd all have to stay an extra 3 or so hours after school.
We all fell for it and began to moan until she started cracking up and yelled "APRIL FOOLS!" into the mike, which I remember quite clearly because I was sitting next to the speaker. She totally deadpanned it, so we all fell for it. :D
