Megane!

Well, I've had glasses for about two months now, and I think I've gotten used to them to the point that I forget I have them on most of the time. It also has the interesting effect that whenever I have them off for whatever reason I feel blind, even though my eyesight's not actually that bad.

However, what prompted this post is that I just took a drink of some coffee, and suddenly...

"Gah! I'm blind! Oh right, steam on glass." -_-

And yes, I've already practiced saying "Megane! Megane wa doko desu ka?" in Japanese in case I drop them while I'm over there, just in case. ;)

I'll have to add that to my repertoir. So far the two things I need to say in different languages are "I am vegetarian" and "two beers please". Now I will add the glasses thing!

Aww, that's cute. ^^o I used to do that all of the time when I was originally getting used to mine, though mine are astigmatism glasses so I don't exactly have to wear them all the time. But I remember drinking and eating hot, steamy stuff. XD And the feeling of suddenly being blind.

"Megane! Megane wa doko desu ka?" What's that translate into? :x -stupid-

"Where are my glasses!" to be said on a crowded train when they get knocked off your face and hopefully before someone steps on them. ;)

Losin' them usually ain't a problem until you lose them on a waterslide and have nigh-transparent frames. Yeah. That one sucked.
