Software meme
List 10 (non-obvious) software tools or applications or utilities that you use regularly and that you'd hate to miss.
Post these instructions with your picture.

- Battle Moon Wars - A cracky doujinshi game based on the Type-Moon universe. It plays almost exactly like Super Robot Wars (and is even modeled on that game system), and is strangely addictive.
- Zoom Player - My default video player, since it handles MKVs pretty well and has good picture quality and rate. It will occasionally get cranky if I play several MKVs in a row,but that usually doesn't happen.
- GIMP - My image editing program.
- Celtx - A freeware program by the same people who make Firefox and Thunderbird that lets you catalog story elements. Mainly I make character notes and put general crap in there. I use it for reference when I have to remember who's who and to generally keep track of my ideas.
- DVD Decrypter - For decrypting DVDS. :P
- AllToAvi - A program that lets you take the AVIs out of MKVs with fairly good quality, with adjustments for bitrate, framerate, MP3 or WAv output and general compression and codecs. If you don't know much about digital video that last sentence probably made your eyes cross.
- Jodix - A WMA to MP3 converter. Comes in handy considering that my video program won't accept WMAs.
- Neko98 - A useless little program that makes a pixel cat run around the screen and do various cute things.
- NVU - A website designer that I haven't used to do much more than experiment. Also a Mozilla project.
- Lightning - My calendar program, which is technically also a part of Thunderbird, my email client. I originally had Mozilla Sunbird, but the new version can't run on my machine for some reason. Lightning is integrated with Thunderbird so it's actually easier to use, but I do miss Sunbird's logo.
