Save me from the testosterone brigade...

Well, the good news is that The Plant is moving out of the Bronze Age technology-wise at last and getting a new computer system.

The bad news is that the people installing it are totally incompetent.

Now for the most part I've accepted that I'm "The Chick" at work, but today I just about wanted to scream at the half dozen or so guys who suddenly invaded the place, moved everything, took multiple coffee breaks instead of working, made a mess of the place and didn't even get the thing they were supposed to be working on fully installed, meaning that at least until Wednesday we're running in Light Mode without a computer monitor and with even less space than usual.

And considering that the booth is claustrophobic with one person in it, with six very tall guys, one 5'4" girl and a bunch of junk it's even worse, so I made myself scarce before someone stepped on me. And yes, someone almost did.

So yeah, a little bit frustrating. And that was before they all ran off promptly at five despite not having finished installing it -- and leaving me alone with the mess to clean up!

*points to icon* My thoughts right now.

Is it just me, or is my layout majorly fucked up right now? So is spectemuragendo, and it uses a different layout. fanficrants and metaquotes are fine, however, so I'm one confused puppy.

Please tell me I didn't break something...

Edit: Okay, I think it's something with the Expressive theme. None of those work properly. I'll try changing it to see what happens.

Okay, so other themes that aren't Expressive work. I've sent an error message to Firefox. I've also discovered that no one's userinfo is showing up properly.

Edit 2: Yeah. It's Firefox. I just checked in IE and sure enough it looks fine in that. I might have to reinstall Firefox at this point.

Edit 3: And now it's miraculously fixed. No idea what just happened, but as long as it's fine I guess I'll let it pass. And while I'm at it I might as well try this theme out for a while. *sigh*
