I take it back. Insanity prevails.

The Chump's not leaving. Gyaaaaahhhh!

Yeah. Through some convoluted combination of him begging for his job back and the fact that we have literally no one else he's staying. He's on a very short leash having had his pay slashed and being demoted (apparently to below an average redshirt -- I didn't know that was possible) and essentially having two strikes against him. I asked Jeremy if we could fire him for being an annoying prick, but unfortunately we can't. I am watching him like a hawk, however, and if he fucks up I will do everything in my power to get him booted. And no, I don't have to go so far as making stuff up with him. He's that stupid.

So yeah. The good news was that right before Jeremy told me this bad news he had me sign the paperwork to get my (long deserved) raise. So at least I'll be making more than The Chump now in a sort of reparation for having to deal with him.

But still... Gyaaaaaaahhhh! What did I do to deserve this?!
