Meganekko? Me?

Lately I've been noticing that my distance vision seems to be getting worse, especially when driving, so I went into the doctor today and got an eye exam. Sure enough, my distance vision isn't very good, while up close I'm fine (which is good considering how much I like reading).
They also managed to confirm something I'd thought for a while: The vision in my right eye is a lot worse than in my left eye. Turns out that my right is 20/40 distance while my left is 20/20 distance. Whoa.
So the next step is to see either an optometrist or an ophthalmologist and figure out why this is so. When my Dad gets home we'll try to find out what people in the area are covered under his plan and try to set this up. It's not urgent, and I can get by (have so far!) but at least I'd like to know what's going on.
So sit tight, readers, I may just become some sort of Meganekko like Kino in my icon here in the near future.
