No post last night because I was busy playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and repeatedly dying. Luckily you can (literally) rewind time on the stupider mistakes (jump the wrong way, run headfirst into a spike, etc.)

In other news, had my first Sociology test the other day, and it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be, since I looked at the first few questions and almost yelled out loud "Hey! I know this!" I know I messed up one question about which guys developed which sociological theories. I got 4 out of the 6, and when I couldn't remember one guy's name I put down "Jones" (turned out to be Cooley). But I don't think it'll hurt me that much, since the teacher was more concerned about us knowing what these guys said than who they were. And the only reason I remembered Marx was Social Conflict theory was that we read him last Semester in English.

Before that test I had lunch in one of the study areas at GCC at the same table as Brian, a kid from last Semester's Psychology class. We basically geeked out for the better part of an hour about the new Batman movie's trailer and the late Heath Ledger appearing in it as the Joker. Brian's also one of the few people I know who used to watch the animated Batman series as a kid, so we geeked out about that too. That was actually a very good show, and even though they toned down the violence they kept the core story the same and even developed some characters to the point that that portrayal has been more widely incorporated (see Fries, Victor).

*cough* Anyway, aside from that, went to flute lesson after school and found out that Neil, a high school friend who has a lesson before me, wasn't there this week because he hurt himself while brushing his teeth. Yes, only Neil could manage to do that. Next week I'll have to find out just how he managed to do that, since I admit I'm curious, and Neil and I constantly give each other shit anyway, and now it's my turn. :D

I managed to repair both the hole in our hose and get the wind doors working again today at work. In the former case it involved moving the clamps from where we had the previous leak down a few inches and reattaching them to a cut piece of hose (a five-minute operation) and the latter had to do with holding open the air intake valve for a few seconds to get air into the system again, since someone had turned it off and let all the air out, so they weren't closing.

With the wind-doors I put a BIG note on the switch that said "Do not turn this off!" and almost added "Or Rosemary will kill you" at the bottom. I decided against it, though I think the last part is implied by the red ink and giant letters used to write it.

I do say I should be rather proud of myself, especially since my boss couldn't figure out how to fix either of them. Adam the Manager actually said that he'll miss me when I go off to college.

^_^ *feels appreciated*
