I'd say it was very successful, and we had a lot of people talking about the displays and commenting on how sad they were (including some very jock-like guys and a very old lady) and we had several administrators come by to talk to us. All in all I'd call it a good day and a good display that did was it was supposed to.

Holy Crap! I have been in the presence of a God and not realized it!

Observant, I am not. I just now figured out that my CRJ professor is not only an esteemed lecturer at Harvard, head of the Restorative Justice Center here, but also has over 2 dozen national recognized books to her name on those subjects! It also took me way too long to figure out that the textbook we were using in class was written by her!

*closes jaw manually* And now I have an in with her if I want to try to do a co-op job with her next year. I mentioned that to her and she said she'd be willing to help me out, and it helps that she likes me and thinks I do good work. I stayed a little bit after class today to tell her that there are some parallels between my philosophy class and this class, and she said that she thinks I have a very clear sense of how to get to the root of an issue and explore the consequences of it, and she did something that she says she's usually reluctant to do: suggested that law school would be good for me!

She also had the usual reaction of surprise when I mentioned that I'm just a freshman, though technically (even though Suffolk won't recognize it) I have already taken several law and CRJ courses. I explained to her that I like the process of formulating theories about law and figuring out how to explain it, and that I'm very passionate about Constitutional Law and Civl rights. I now have someone who has a good opinion of me in a position where she could help me out in the future. All very good.

Wasn't it Joseph Campbell who said "Follow Your Bliss"? I think I'm getting closer to figuring out what the bliss is.
