So in the last 12 hours I’ve gotten no less than two emails from people in my summer class asking for information about the final since they weren’t in class Tuesday -- the last day of class. The first guy did this once before for another assignment, and because I'm a nice person I sent the scanned assignment to, but the second is out of luck since I’m at work and can’t pop open my laptop.

If you want to do well in a class and know what you have to do you show up, or barring that you email the professor and explain your circumstances. He’s a nice guy and is perfectly willing to help you out if you show you’re committed and, you know, give a crap. This is not rocket science, people. Half of life is just showing up!

I'm all for helping people out when I can since I am a nice person, but really. And here I thought the summer crowd would be more with it. Wrong!
