This song reminds me of right around the time I graduated from high school, since while I liked and still like certain people I went to high school with overall it wasn't a pleasant experience for me, and in fact I took courses at a community college for my senior year to get out. In June of that year I did attend the high school graduation, and I remember on the way back from the rehearsal I cued this up on my stereo. It just seemed appropriate.
