Good news: I finally have a couch in Boston! And all it cost me was $15 plus time nailing an old sheet over it to make it look nice and a bit of a sore back taking it up the stairs with Dad's help.
Bad news: My allergies are fucking killing me!
Oh well, I got a nasal spray for the second one and it's starting to kick in. I think being out in Western Mass where there's a lot more trees was what did it, since I hadn't been having too much trouble before since. y'know, city. Also the dust kicked up by the aforementioned couch when I was doing some minor repair work on it, which was probably in storage for God knows how long and had a lot of dust and bits of old cushion falling out of it, probably didn't help.
But at least Thomas likes it (even though he's hard to see because black cat + black couch, though that was part of the idea of making it black what with the cat hair):
Now it's a question of whether he'll share...
