Also, they don't call it Mission Hill for nothing. That's a hill we'd consider substantial in the boonies where I'm from. And I was in heels. But I made it up in time and didn't completely get out of breath.
It turns out that this position does not involve using the intercom if something happens to a kid, that would be the earlier shift. I'd still be calling people when their patients come in for clinical appointments, but apparently at the hours I'd be there it'd be really quiet. I also managed to slip in that I've been in some form of therapy for half of my life at this point, which hopefully tells them that I'd be sympathetic.
Need to call the staffing agency after I eat lunch to tell them how it went. I'm very hungry, and have some leftover macaroni.
