I've only gotten to look at the Alpha Male little bit, but it seems right about some things (for instance, the double standard of women simultaneously wanting and not wanting sex due to social stigma) but they are interesting. I was also surprised to see that it was only from 2005. I would have thought the 60s from the tone of it. ;)
