Salutations from Portland
Dec. 4th, 2004 10:59 pmCurrently writing this from Portland, Oregon, after my grandmother's memorial service. Thank God that's over. We can actually relax and enjoy the scenery now. My body thinks it's eleven thirty, but I won't even have to time to adjust to this time zone before going back Monday.
I kept expecting to see Tyriel in O'Hare, and I did, in a way. He was there physically at Bradley in Connecticut, so I expected to see him like that, but I kept thinking in the food court at O'Hare that he was somewhere behind me. Then he basically snuck up on me in spirit, and was with me for most of the flight. I asked him if my dad noticed he was there, and he said yes, but my dad wouldn't do anything about it. Figures.
What else... I'll write more later when I'm more awake, but I think us just being in this house has dispelled some of the negativity, though I still want to smudge one room with sage. Long story.
Oyasumi!
