Currently typing up a Holocaust poem for English class. *shivers* That's some creepy stuff. I'll probably put it here when it's done.

Done!
Left Behind
They came to us like shadows
Slowly creeping
Like a vine
Strangling as a python
Till all wonders lost their shine
Quietly denying what was coming
Covering our ears and eyes
And shunning those who warned us
Not leaving when we had the time
As our freedoms slowly vanished
When our safety net was torn
We thought not of all these wardens
To whom our loyalty was sworn
Not until we saw the bodies
Saw the prisoners thin and worn
That our illusions quickly shattered
And new fear in us was born
As we watched our children dying
When at midnight guard dogs whined
In our hearts we finally realized
We were those they left behind
I'm not sure where this came from, maybe from some spirits I've interracted with. Oh, speaking of spirits, I found out that Subaru, from an earlier post, is a guy in my English class. I'm going to do a test to see how much he remembers, if anything.
*Sigh*
At least I know where he is. But I know we can't be involved now, for various reasons. But just to know he's here, and that can see him, that's the greatest feeling. ^ ^
