Wearin' of the Green
Mar. 16th, 2005 08:21 pmTommarrow's St. Patrick's day. I'll have to dig my green blouse out tonight. God knows I can't have a last name like Callahan and not wear green! It already sounds pretty Irish, but had I been a boy I would have been; get this: Sean Patrick Callahan.
That's actually what I might name my kid, if I ever have one (count: one. Don't think I could stay sane with any more).
Well, I'm almost done with finals. I basically get to slack off for two hours tommarrow and study for my Algebra test, and then take said test (Gulp), but then I get out at twelve. And I think in terms of my science grade, I'm screwed. Being gone for a month, I missed a lot of work, and there's no way I can make it up by tommarrow. So, I probably have a C. The good news is, I still have my B GPA, which I need for the thing in Washington this summer. I'll just work extra hard next trimester.
On PBS right now there's a Celtic music thing that's pretty cool. Not sure I agree with the "angelic voices" comment the pledge drive people made. Where do people get those ideas? Well, they have to fill up ten minutes by blabbering until they can come back on. My dad knows people at a radio station who have to do that. I usually just change the channel.
Oh, I've been invited to the birthday of a kid I don't really know well, but he seems very nice. He reacted a bit strangely when I mentioned I was sitting at the GSA table, but it may just be because he knows the people who were sitting there. I hope he's not homophobic, or that could be a problem. I hope he's not hitting on my either, because I don't particularly want to have to turn two people down in as many weeks.
Oh, and we put a picture of Haruka and Michiru on the GSA bulletin board. After I left they cut out a paper heart and wrote on it: "We're out and proud! (And animated!)"
