Well, I just finished a three page report in about an hour. I'm staying home today, and I had just today to finish this and get it to my Science teacher to boost my grade. And I'm done! (Does a little dance)

OK, I was supposed to finish it yesterday, but since I was already getting sick, it was late, and I would have had a long study hall today, so I thought I'd finish it then. I decided last night that getting sleep took priority, and that I'd rather rush something tommarrow than doze off in all of my other classes. However, I also thought sleep would make me feel better, but twas not the case. (Note: Twas is not a typo, I'm trying to sound silly)

And my mom is pissed that I didn't do this. I understand why, but the fact that I pulled something together in this short a time while doing all my other schoolwork should earn merits. At least I have something to give him.

I'm eating Miso soup, watching Rurouni Kenshin and sitting under a picture of Japenese cranes. Huh.

And I found another song that speaks to me:

No one knows what it’s like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

And no one knows what it’s like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That’s never free

No one knows what it’s like
To feel these feelings
Like I do
And I blame you

No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain an’ woes
Can show through

No one knows how to say
That they’re sorry
And don’t worry
I’m not telling lies

I just happened to download this song yesterday, and though it's an oldie I think it can apply to now and what our government is going through:

Russians, by Sting )

Thought that's kinda interesting. The Russians do love their children, and nothing beats seeing an old babushka going out to do her shopping in the middle of a blizzard. The melody in the back of that song sounds like an old Russian folk song, or maybe the Soviet anthem. It sounds familiar.

As for the Pope, I hope that he passes over peacefully. God knows I'm not Catholic, and the only mass I've ever been to was when my granddad died, but I think he's a very kind and gentle man who's really helped the world and inspired millions.

Oy, my head hurts again. I hope I don't have the flu. I've got the bodyaches and general malayse (sp?) but the good news is tommarrow's Saturday. No one's tried to pull a prank on me yet, but we'll just see about that when my dad gets home...
