Woot!

Just felt like putting that there. Anyway, first day of driver's ed. It seems like a good class, I know a few people in it. Of course it's boring, and the teacher reminds me of my 5th grade teacher (even looks like him and has the same voice, which can put you to sleep) but he did make it funny in some points.

And yesterday I adopted a monarch caterpillar from Mr. Larshevek (who oddly enough is a computer teacher, no idea why he had 100 caterpillars in his office) and the little thing eats like crazy. I gave it a whole, 6 inch long leaf when I left for school, and just now when I got back... Gone. The entire thing! And I decided I would give it a name after holding out to give it one. The first one that popped into my mind, and seems to fit. OK, so maybe not too surprising, but my caterpillar's name is... Kirika. ^-^ Well, it's cute, innocent and small, so it works. ;)

And the horrible heat finally broke... to be replaced by horrible cold. Make up your mind, weather! Are we in summer or fall here?

Ha ha.

Anyway, my dad just called from Philly, where he's at a conference about University Newspapers. He says he'll get me a New Jersey State Police hat if he sees one. I asked if they have a reputation, and it's not a good one apparently.
