Я устала...
Jun. 5th, 2006 05:18 pmI think I may have found something helpful that comes from driving: I tend to be rather disorganized and have trouble keeping personal planners, but when I was driving home today I found myself going over a mental checklist of what I have to do now that I'm home instead of forgetting about it like I usually do. I think driving may help my brain sort itself out in some strange way.
I also got it (the car) inspected today and passed with flying colors. The only thing that's not quite chipper is a minor annoyance but still irritating: The light that indicates my seatbelt is fastened doesn't work right and flashes constantly when I'm plugged in. I called the guy who sold it to us so he can take a look at it and hopefully fix it (or disable it if he needs to, assuming that's legal).
I had no problems finding parking with the seniors gone, though during the day I was being paranoid and kept half-expecting someone to come on the PA and say "License plate number xxxxxx (me), your car is on fire." But that didn't happen, luckily.
And I'm trying to figure out if I should call it anything. It will likely get very confusing having the Prizm and the Prius. I'm sure something will coome to me in the manner of a brick striking my head. So far the best thing I've come up with is Chase (as in Chevy Chase *dodges tomato*) though I'm thinking of some type of Japanese name that might work. So far I haven't come up with anything, though my mother suggested Tsuba (handguard) or something of the sort.
And I ended up as a surprise getting an A- on the dreaded Genitive Plural Russian test. That was a surprise. That's usually a pretty hard test and people generally don't do too well. That made my day.
I might post pictures at some point assuming I can drag myself back up from my exhaustion.
