For I have to fill up the gas tank on the Prizm. *egads*

When I passed the gas station it was $3.09 for regular. I didn't even look at the other prices. That should be interesting.

And I may have already mentioned this, but I applied to Barnes and Noble and will hopefully get a response saying that I'm hired at least part time. *I better at this point* My only worry about working there would be that I might run into a certain someone I don't like, but if that should happen I'll have coworkers nearby and be able to scream pretty loud in a bookstore. At least everyone would hear me there. The positions they have open are mostly in the cafe, and I can actually make espresso rather well *in my humble opinion* and do decent math. Or a salesperson would be fine as well, I put "Any" under what jobs I'd be interested in.

Still no name for the car, though when talking to it (yes I talk to it) I've been calling it "baby" (as in "Just a little further baby" or "Sorry baby" if I hit a speed-bump too hard). Not even sure why I'm doing that, but it just seems to fit. But so far the thing's been a hard working little vehicle that I admit I'm getting attached to. ^_^

I keep getting a mental image in my head of what the kids in my town will say when they hear about this (I've been keeping this mostly under wraps to avoid stupid questions, begging for rides that I can't give anyway and the like) and what I'm sure my reaction will be. Something within the range of whipping out my shinai and standing defensively in front of it. And I think when I can drive people in my age group I'll charge a small fee, maybe a buck, just given the price of gas and to discourage people mooching off of me. Seems reasonable to me, but we'll see how they feel about that when the time comes.
