(no subject)

In lieu of ordering it online (where I'd need a credit card, which I don't have) I'm going to have to find someplace that sells the Street Fighter Alpha anthology so I don't have to keep renting it. Why? Because I'm actually starting to get good at it! If I meet up with Chris again it would be nice to have a rematch after he wiped the floor with me the first time, since I didn't know the controls for that version and was using older ones. Also, I guess my fighting style is a bit odd, since I don't use one technique constantly and prefer to just use basic punches and kicks to win as opposed to supers. *shrug* Different strokes for different folks.

Good samaritan of AMVs

Hopefully my karma will get a boost after today. Not that karma was my motivation, mind you, I just decided to be nice to some poor new kid on animemusicvideos.org who didn't know what they were doing. I saw that they had uploaded a project file - not a finished video - so I nicely emailed them saying that they had a problem. And, they credited me in the fixed version as "a cool person". I like to think I help people rather than the typical "damn noobs" response, instead I just let them know they did something wrong and didn't judge them. Hell, everyone was the new boy/girl/person/vertebrate at some point, and getting help from someone who knows what they're doing is the best way to figure stuff out. So that made me feel good, even if it was a little thing. It's just nice to know I made someone's life easier if only for a moment.
