Prompted by something that happened today concerning what in my opinion was pure idiocy (the specific comment is referenced later), this is an announcement I'm going to see if I can put on the GSA bulletin board if I get permission.

*Whoot!*

We now have an African American governor in Massachusetts. As someone put today, "Only in Massachusetts could you have a woman running against a black man."

I'm glad. Patrick always came off as a Zen master (or as my mom put it, Samurai) and I think that's what helped him win. That and his opponent came out of the gate even in the primary with attack ads that put people off.

But I'm glad. And I'm going to relish seeing the Chump's face given how insistant he was that Healey would win, considering she's lost by a 20% margin. This guy also had the gall to ask me if I'd vote for her so "my kind" (read: women) would be in power, which is crap. I love karma sometimes. *evil grin*
