Great British Editorial

I found this while poking around at lunch reading about the New Jersey decision and rejoicing. This is from the London Times about the one year anniversary of their legalization of domestic partnerships, and expresses a view I sincerely hope catches on here, and at the same time am reminded of why I love the Brits. ^_^

So I had a first today. I gave blood after I saw the "Blood Mobile" parked at the mall when I was running an errand. It felt like the right thing to do, and the ladies in there were really nice. I'm rather needle-phobic but I got through it alright. That was the second time I've been told I have "nice veins" the other being when I was getting a colonoscopy last year.

I guess it made me sleepy, since now I feel really wiped out. One more day until break. I can't believe they didn't give us the day off, but everyone's going to be dead tomorrow anyway. I made some goody bags for my friends and a few teachers, and I'm working after school. Should be a quiet day, which should be nice.
