Book: Specimen Days by Michael Cunningham. Part of the book actually made me wince, but in a sympathy-for-the-protagonist way, not an Oh-My-God-this-book-sucks way.
Movie: My Fellow Americans, a fairly obscure comedy movie that holds no punches in terms of political jokes.
CD: Release The Stars by Rufus Wainwright. He's a Broadway class singer easily, and some of his songs are heartbreaking.
Video Game: Okami, though I really wanted to squish Issun by the end of it.
