Bring me a shrubbery!
Apr. 14th, 2008 08:59 pmAt work today I spent a good amount of time trimming back the hedges we have on the lot, and it was very relaxing. I had to consciously avoid saying a double entendre when I was telling our manager what I'd been doing with my day over the phone. Ha-hem, bush trimming indeed.
I've also been thinking of getting us a hydrangea to fill one spot on our lot that's empty, so I'm doing a bit of research on them. From what I've found about them it looks like they're fairly hardy, which would be good for our lot, and I happen to like hydrangeas. So yes, there is a certain amount of personal preference involved here. >:)
The Chump was also his usual self, and while he said he was going to do some of the mulching, he spent most of the time yapping with the gas station ladies. I seriously had to restrain myself from kicking his ass. I did twice as much mulching yesterday on my own and took exactly one break, while he spent a good 3/4 of his time wasting it. If I may say so, what a pussy. *ptbtt*
