Double Headed Coin
Dec. 18th, 2004 09:59 pmStill wondering about that dream... It didn't feel like a dream, and no, I don't think the dream was based on physical pains. I think it was visa-versa.
Thinking about Ninjas, oddly enough. They captured me at one point, and tortured me... with a wire. If that sounds painful it was. I borrowed Tenchu from Ashley, and my mom made a comment half-jokingly about, "should you be playing this?" Not all Ninjas are bad guys, but the ones I dealt with were especially tenacious and vicious bastards. They didn't care who they killed, kids, adults, older people. It was all in a day's work.
And my job made it so I dealt with them, or should I say what they left behind, almost daily. This clan was pretty vicious. They worked for the Yakuza, getting people who owed them money, had betrayed them, or that they simply didn't like. After they captured me and I was rescued, my master hired one to work for us. I was not thrilled. Let's just say that I had a bad opinion of them after that incident with the wire, and having to have my shoulder sewn up, without annesthesia. But he turned out to be quite valuable, and actually a pretty good guy. He was more of spy, as opposed to assassin. As always, there were two sides to every coin. The ninja who was a vicious bastard, and the one who was a perfectly good guy in a somewhat shady profession.
