Aw man, I'm such a sap. One of my favorite shows, Cold Case, had a story about a lesbian couple in the 1930s that literally had me crying at the end of it. Seriously. It ended up being very touching but still incredibly sad.
And I can't help but think CBS is going to get flack for airing it. But it's a good sign that the often ignored subject matter is coming out (no pun intended) into primetime. It was also interesting that they were not only lesbians but a bi-racial couple too with one being white and the other African American. Someone was thinking outside the box on the writing team, and I hope they keep it up!
