Until I saw this image I never realized just how sexy Riza Hawkeye was!

Wow. I actually have a poster of her, but I'd never seen that image. *stuffs tissues into nose to stop the sudden nosebleed* Me? A thing for women with authority? No... Though I do have a thing for Revy from Black Lagoon, and Integra Hellsing... and most of the females in Utena... Ok, I do. XD

About Hawkeye: I'm more partial toward Ross. I'm also not used to Hawkeye's hair being long.

Date: 2007-03-11 01:37 am (UTC)XD Indeed. I listened to the audio commentary on the Utena movie and just about cracked up when he said that the final scene "was the sort of thing going through my head as a teenager".
I like Ross as a character, but I think she reminds me too much of myself to really like that way. She's still one of my favorite characters, though. *shrug*

I like some of the Utena women, but their fucked-up-ness puts me off too much.

Date: 2007-03-10 03:58 pm (UTC)(2007) "Last Stand of the 300" Seven Thousand Greek Soldiers face the war machine of the Persian Empire in a narrow pass in Northern Greece. History Special, 2 hours.
If you have to work maybe your folks or friends can TiVo or tape it for you? The "cat" will probably want to see it, too.
Did I ever tell you about Jamie watching the entire West Wing episode titled "The Warfare of Genghis Khan"?

Date: 2007-03-10 05:39 pm (UTC)I think you did mention the cat watching The West Wing, which is pretty funny. Our cats don't really pay attention to the TV except if there are bird noises or other such things on it.

Date: 2007-03-10 07:50 pm (UTC)If you still have a working VHS in your house, I can make a tape of the show and mail it to you.. but I know a lot of people have ditched their VCRs and gone all digital.
