Raining outside again. This must be remnants of Francis. It's odd, but watching and listening to the rain always makes me feel at ease. I'm not sad when it rains, like some people. I've been thinking a lot about things, life, death, what it all means. Nothing out of the ordinary.

What is odd is the fact that I can't figure out what this damn angel Tyriel has to do with anything. I called out to him in my dreams, and was taken to a place that looked like Venice. He wouldn't talk. Dru (thanks again if you're reading this) asked about him and came up with this:

okay, so i did a reading on this tyriel person. the feeling i received from him was pretty much what you said, that of utter power. when i looked into him specifically, i found that he may have actually been connected with this ordeal the first time around. the card defining him spoke of "lost opportunities", "lack of means to attain a goal", and "uncertain prospects." that leads me to believe that this might be his second time around with this issue. his stubborness to speak or work with you also came through quite clearly.

Thought so. If he was in a human body I bet Tyriel would be Irish, since he seems extremely stubborn (I'm Irish myself, fyi). Why wouldn't he talk to me? The whole thing about angels being above human emotions, pure bullshit. This guy's proof, and he's a freaking archangel. I looked him up, he belongs up there with Gabriel and the other famous ones. I met Gabriel once, nice guy. He acted gay, imo (listens to shrieks of horror from right-wing christians).

I'm not an archangel, so I hope I don't have to fight him. I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell against him, even if Shiro helps me. Well, if he's being stubborn maybe he'll figure out that I can help him in whatever way I can.

venice, interesting... that tyriel is a very stubborn being! i tried to contact him, but didn't get exactly what i was hoping for. instead i was given a dream (i tried to contact him while sleeping) about another issue in my life. okay, so here's where this gets kind of strange. the friend this dream about is named ashley. she is the one i thought might be connected with your situation. (she's not) the dream seemed semi-profetic, but i'm not sure yet. this is all very strange to me, and so i'm still trying to sort things out. if i get any new info, i'll tell you.~dru

Ashley??? Whoa, this is getting weird. That's my friend's name, as you pointed out. Actually, last night I contacted Tyriel, and he actually talked to me. It was hard for me to understand him, but he kept telling me an M name that I couldn't make out. Basically he said that I need to figure this out on my own, then he'll help me. (grumble) He almost seemed to be hitting on me, checking my wings and was actually lying in bed beside me in a spirit form (still trying to figure that out). I'll ask my brother's spirit, who is around this Ashley, what in hell is going on.

well, at least he talked to you. although i must say, having had experiences with "beings" in bed next to me, it is not the most pleasant experience one can have. the idea about his minimal involvement (the "figure it out for yourself" thing) is again a strange parallel to my ashley. every time i tap into divination about her, i get the same response. (so far both my tarot cards and runes have said the exact same thing.) i was told that i had to "figure it out for myself." that's why this whole affair is so interesting, considering the connections. in fact, i think we actually are close to the same age, and may even live pretty close to one another. it is all very strange.~dru

Just out of curiousity, how old are you? Not to be nosy or anything. I'm going to be 15 in 11 days, and I live in Massachusetts. You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. But the important part:

So I asked my Tarot deck what was happening, in three questions. The first was, What will come out of this? and I pulled a card that said, Victory, acknowledgement and honor . Then I asked, Who is this M name that Tyriel told me? and I got a card that described this person as, Calm authority, someone who tells the truth and won t sugarcoat their words that suggested a male energy. And then I asked, What does Tyriel want with me? and I got an odd answer. It was, Sudden communication, unexpected news. I think the communication card might have reffered to you, I'm not sure. So is your Ashley in the physical world? I'm starting to think we might know the same person.

strangely enough, our birthdays aren't that far apart, mine is on the 27th of this month, and i will turn 16. it's a little difficult to explain where i live, but it's near goffstown.

now about the other stuff. my ashley is in the physical world, but we have a pretty strong metaphysical connection. our powers influence the other's, basically they are increased when we're together. (this connection also includes a third friend of mine, together we make our own sort of little magickal circle) i had the same idea that our ashleys might be the same, partially from your entry about starting high school. i think she started school around the same time as you, but she lives in manchester.

about the tarot cards, i'm not sure, but the card could have represented me. i will do a reading later on that "m" name you said tyriel told you. by the way, while we're on the subject of angels, i had a question. what religion are you? i mean having been an angel...are you referencing the christian concept? or maybe a more general one? just wondering.~dru

I'm not really any religion, I'm a mix of Taoist, Buddhist, Confucist and pagan. When I refer to angels I just mean a certain type of guardian spirit. They show up as gold on my aura screen, and generally they have wings. Is Goffston in New Hampshire? My mother's friend lives near there.
