I stumbled across the Everyday Sociology Blog and read through a couple of their articles. It's all very interesting to me, especially an article on Breaching Baby Norms about about why there was a such a visceral reaction to the octuplet mother from a while back.
They also have a really interesting take on Sustainability and same-sex marriage, basically backing up what I've been saying about marriage being an institution that really shouldn't be threatened by expanding the definition, and if it really is threatened there are far more problems with it than just allowing gays to join.
