athenaltenaI think all this hot weather must be making me sick. I haven't been sleeping well, I'm constantly dizzy and I think I'm dehydrated.
I've been going over some old fanfictions of mine on my hard drive. Man, I really needed a thesaurus. But I'm going to clean them up and re-submit them once I'm done.
I'm nervous right now because I've been wanting to talk to someone in my family about the fact that... I'm kinda a lesbian. Both of my parents are supportive, (phew) but other than them and my two little cousins who are too young to know the signifigence no one else knows.
My aunt Louise was a lesbian, but my grandmother is still in denial about that. I think I'm going to talk to my cousin Derrek, who's black and adopted. He should understand what it feels like to be discriminated against. Not that I am, being across the river from the "Lesbian Capitol of America."
This sucks. I should'nt have to be afraid of what to say to my family of all people. But they're Roman Catholic, which made me uncomfortable when I went to my aunt's confirmation. Man, if they knew they would throw me out the door.
