Tooth finally fixed and plants

athenaltenaFinally got my chipped tooth fixed yesterday, and my jaw is slowly starting to reset itself. After I chipped it I went through a period where my teeth didn't line up right, so now it has to adjust back. The dentist himself is a little bit flaky and took a while to get to me, but by the time I was finally novacained up and they were working on me I was reminded of this graph:

Yeah. Pretty much like that. At one point he asked me what year in school I was while his hand was halfway down my throat, so I just held up two fingers instead of trying to talk. His assistant, who is apparently still pretty new at this, also nearly shoved a tube right into my gag reflex, so I gently gave her some constructive criticism about that after she was done. She apologized for it, I just wanted her to know about it. I also remembered why I don't like getting novocained since it took about 2 hours to wear off and in the meantime my face felt really swollen though it actually wasn't. I also wasn't supposed to eat or drink in case I bit my tongue and couldn't feel it, so by the time it wore off I was really hungry and promptly devoured several snacks.
I've also been replanting some things in prep for the move, including the rosemary shoots and the coleus plant into bigger pots. I also snipped off part of the tri-color geranium in the rock garden and started a pot with it, and I hope it takes root. On an a side, I kept calling that place a germanium until I was gently corrected. One is a plant, the other is an element on the periodic table. Whoops. It seems my brain sometimes misfires about similar words like that.
I should also get a picture of the hydrangea out there since it's turned into a three color one and I think looks really cool. There must have been more in the soil than I was expecting for it to turn out like that, but it's much more interesting looking than the white hydrangeas we see around her a lot. Why have a white one when you could have a red or blue one, or in our case, a purple, blue and white one?
