I just heard some girls out in the hallway shrieking about how it's snowing. Now maybe it's just the fact that I'm a born and bred New Englander, but my immediate reaction was so freaking what?!
The only thing it's done so far is stick on my sweater as I've been running back and forth between the laundry room in the attached building and here, and within a few weeks we'll all be sick of it. And from what I've heard people have already forgotten how to drive in snow and there have been several car accidents within the last few hours both out west and here in the city.
So yeah, snow: pretty at first, a pain in the ass pretty quickly.

Date: 2009-12-06 12:55 am (UTC)There was an article in the Boston Globe today pretty much asking people not to be stupid when it starts snowing, but if the number of sirens I've heard outside in the last hour are any indication most haven't taken it to heart.
