It looks like Ryu is going to be okay. I got her down to the vet without any trouble and they took a look at her, and confirmed that she has internal parasites and an eye infection, so they gave me meds to give to her. Angelo's friend is coming by in a bit so I can show him how to give it to her (which is fairly idiot proof), and after that I can go home.

The exam was probably harder on me than it was on her, since I couldn't bear to watch as they picked her up, prodded her and felt her stomach. She was actually very calm during it, and they kept saying how mellow she was. They also said that she's been taken very good care of outside of this, and since she hadn't lost that much weight and still has a good amount of fat in reserve they see her making a full recovery in a few weeks.

So yes, thank you Gecko God, thank you.
