Things I overheard while talking to myself

I already put this up in an FST community, but I'll stick it here too. Cover art, lyrics, link to zip, smartass comments on my part, etc. I came up with this when I was listening to Audioslave and Show me how to live came on, at which point *brick to head* plus it fit with the community's theme for this month. I did part of it this morning when it was slow at work and I had my laptop on one of the reading breaks my psych professor tells us to take while studying (mainly the cover art).

FMA is sort of a closet like of mine, partly because of all the fanwank generated around it, but I do like it. Roy especially is a character I identify with, and I think the protagonist is one of the best ones to come out of any sort of story for a while. And yes, this is the second time I've used "Human Decay" as a fanmix title, but it just worked wit this series and the subject of soulless humans.

Anyway, onto the music.

Back when I was fairly young (probably about 11 or 12) I started watching Alias and felt an almost immediate connection to the dad, even though the general opinion back then seemed to be that he was a cold hearted bastard. Well, a few years went by and it became clear he was actually a character with a lot of internal pain and a pretty complicated relationship with his daughter. Well, since I'm snowed in I managed to finish this.
