I'm alive! *trip*
Feb. 12th, 2006 12:14 amI had another driving lesson today in my grandma's Subaru, and went on the Interstate for the first time. It wasn't that hard, but I was scared at first going that fast though I got used to it after about a minute. It was pretty uneventful, though the Holyoke Mall parking lot is a nightmare no matter what your driving skill is. 0_o I didn't look at one point so that could have been lucky, bu I learned from that. I just need a few more with United Driving School and then I'm good for the test!
I went down there to look at that Best Buy's anime section to see if they had something I've been looking for (the Revolutionary Girl Utena Movie) and while I didn't find it I got the next Gankutsuou that I'd been looking for.
But the most traumatic experience was not the driving, it was something else. We went into Filene's to get something for my mom so we had to wait by the makeup counter. It took all my self control to keep from sprinting out the door as fast as possible when I saw all the makeup and perfume that makes me sneeze. I was afraid someone would grab me and want to give me a makeover, which in my book is bad. Yeah. So that was the most traumatic part of the whole day.
And we might get snowed in tommarrow. Meh. I do live in New England.
