Aug. 25th, 2011 09:16 pmIt's probably a good idea to keep me the hell away from Jamaica Plain this weekend. Mainly because the MSPCA is throwing an adoption event where they waive the adult cat adoption fees, and I am sorely tempted to take one home.
What's stopping me is that I don't want to have to move and not be able to take the cat with me. I just can't inflict that on an animal. But at the same time I really want one! Darcie's cat will be leaving with her and I love having them around.
*kicks something out of frustration* Damn it, usually the adoption fee stops me, but that's being waived. I also don't really have anyone out here who could take care of it while I'm away, and I don't want a repeat of what happened to Ryu.
I basically have two voices in my head right now, the rational adult explaining why this is a bad idea and the little kid who says "But I want it!" in response to everything.
ARGH!
