Odd new developments. I had my band concert tonight, we did pretty well. But the other band played a piece that's a medly of Japanese pieces, and one of them transported me to another time. I realized that I had been at a major battle, Sekigahara, I think, which took place about 50 years after I died as Kazuma. I was watching it from a hill, and then I'm on a horse going down the hill. I felt like I wasn't in the auditorium, and like I was being pulled out of the top of my head. But I was not just in Japan again, I was my cousin Kirima's kid!
I remember he lived in Kyoto, and he must have suspected that I was his cousin's reincarnation, since he took my to a priest when I was around 7. The priest did some weird sage stuff, then pulled my father (or cousin, I'm confused!) and when he came back he was really quiet. Then when I went into samurai training he brought out a katana, and asked me if it looked familiar. It was my (as Kazuma) Katana! What on earth he was doing with it I have no idea. I think you were supposed to be buried with it. But anyway, I said sort of, and when I reached out to touch it it felt like a bell had been struck, and I pulled my hand back. Whenever I used that sword it always felt heavy, I remember, but I never really inquired into the priest or the sword. My name was Kenjiyo then, don't remember my last name.
Weird, I was my father's cousin, then his kid... I'm so confused! And what was he doing with my sword anyway? Gah! My tarot cards said this would happen! (Startling realizations involving family members, that is)
