In relation to the last post, last night I dreamed that I found a huge bag of money (or perhaps it was given to me... memory's a little blurry) and of course I was rather dismayed when roommate E's stupid alarm (a little melody that always cuts off on an awkward beat that my musical sense always screams about) woke me up and said large sum of dream-money disappeared with a poof.

WHY DID I HAVE TO WAKE UP?! IT WAS SUCH A NICE DREAM!

What I wish I could find was something with GLAD or PFLAG or one of these LGBT groups in Boston that pays, even if it's just a small amount. I'd be willing to push papers and make copies and be a general office bitch, really. I've looked through enough acronyms to make alphabet soup and they all seem to be unpaid, and while under most circumstances I'd be really happy just to help them out, but at the moment that's not feasible.

I think I'll go to the gym and/or swing my bokken around for a bit to get out some of the stress. I am luckily getting over the cold/fever/whatever I had last weekend and am just at the hacking stage, though the cold very much aggravates it. Now of course everyone else has the cough and I'm (mostly) healthy, so I've had to do a lot of tiptoeing around my room to avoid waking up the other roommates when they're taking health naps.

This thing out in Syracuse (which is ironically called OutSpoken as opposed to SpeakOut, the thing that didn't work out with PFLAG) will hopefully help out, though, at least in taking me out of the area for a bit and meeting lots of cool people.
