Clean bill of Health

OK. So I went to the doctor today, and it turns out I have nothing serious wrong with me. The foul tasting stomach stuff does nothing, so I'm going to stop it. But I'm seeing a specialist sometime in June, so that will hopefully be sorted out. Nothing abnormal, I've lost weight (yay!) and grown half an inch since last time. They're going to increase my does of asthma medication, though the test they had me do took the longest of anything there! I had to blow into a tube as hard as I could, and I kept running out of breath! But I got it on the fourth try, the gave me something to see if it worked, and then I had to do it 4 more times! Agh! That was frustrating.

And for the second time in a month I ran into Nastia at Dunkin Donuts where she's working. Weird, I ran into my cousin Derreck's girlfriend the last time I was in there, so I guess it's a gathering place for people I know. 0_0

Well, no terminal illnesses, so I should count myself lucky. ^ ^

that's good news :D. i just got my blood test results back today and apparently i don't seem to have a terminal illness either, so we're both lucky

i remember you mentioning your stomach in a few posts, but what are the symptoms? i only ask because i had/have stomach problems that were utterly baffling. eventually the docs found out what i had (ibs, yay), but it took a while. maybe i can help.

I've already been diagnosed with IBS (almost a year ago) but this is... lower. It has more to do with intesinal cramping and... other stuff. It's not IBS, since that's more heartrburn and stomach for me. I take something for IBS, but it does nothing for this. My grandmother had some sort of bowel problem, so that's what this specialist is going to look for.

Right. *blushes* Not used to talking about this sort of thing.
